Lava Software Ltd ("Lava Software" or We) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy (together with our website Terms of Use, Cookies Policy and any other documents referred to in them) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

1.1 Data Collection

We operate an opt-in policy to data collection wherever possible and provide links where appropriate to third-party service providers who may operate under their own privacy policies.

Any personal information that we may collect will be stored securely and will never be passed on or sold to any third party.

We may collect certain data through our website and our apps so that we may provide and improve our digital products and the user experience. The data collected is used only for generic purposes such as advertising personalisation, analytical and statistical reporting of website and app usage, and the tracking of incidents, errors and bugs.

By visiting and using our website you are accepting and agreeing to the practices described in this policy.

2.1 Data Collection

We collect personal information about you when you contact us via our website contact form and when you email us. The information we collect can include the following: first name, last name, email address and IP address. By completing our contact form and/or emailing us with your data, you authorise us to use these details to reply to your communications.

If you enable analytical cookies (see "2.3 Analytics"), we also collect your IP address and device identifiers such as your device ID, device name, operating system, browser type and language, which helps us to understand our audience demographics and general geographical location.

2.2 Data Storage

We retain personal data for no longer than is necessary. What is necessary will depend on the circumstances of each data type, taking into account the reasons that the personal data was obtained, but if relevant the length of retention is determined in a manner consistent with legal obligations.

2.3 Analytics

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users. We use information collected from our website, including your IP address and device identifiers such as your device ID, device name, operating system, browser type and language, which helps us to understand our audience demographics, personalise your repeat visits to our website and remember your preferences.

We may track the pages users visit when they click on links in emails, this site or within our apps and we may use this information to personalise the way our website is presented when users visit it and to make improvements to our website. It also helps us to understand how visitors arrived at our site and the content they find interesting once here. Wherever possible we use aggregated or anonymous information which does not identify individual visitors to our website.

Our analytics service is Google Analytics provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses the data collected to track and examine the use of our website, to prepare reports on its activities and shares them with other Google services. This helps us to understand where in the world our web traffic is coming from, identify content that visitors find relevant and helps us to improve the service that we provide.

3. Our Apps

By installing and using our apps you are accepting and agreeing to the practices described in this policy.

3.1 Data Collection

Our apps do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information or data of any kind, unless otherwise stated in the "Notes" field of the App-Specific Information section, below.

All of our apps include a "Privacy Consent" menu where users can optionally opt-in to additional services provided by third parties. These service providers will collect data in order to provide these additional features, as detailed in the sections below. We encourage you to check their privacy policies to learn more about their data processing practices.

Our apps are built using a select few cross-platform developement frameworks, which enables us to develop software that can be installed and used on a wide-range of devices and platforms / operating systems.

The information below relates to all of our apps, irrespective of device or platform. The service provider(s) may vary for each app depending on the development framework used and/or the device platform. Please see the App-Specific Information section, below, for any additional information.

3.2 Advertising (Ads)

We use ad services to financially support our apps. Our service providers can provide more relevant, personalised ads by collecting certain data and using a unique identifier on a user's device.

Users can opt-in to personalised advertising within the "Privacy" section of an apps "Settings" menu. If a user selects not to opt-in then they will still receive ads but they will not be personalised.

3.3 Analytics

We use analytics services to help us understand the usage of our apps and how we may improve them. Our service providers achieve this by collecting certain data and using a unique identifier on a user's device.

3.4 Notifications

We use notification services to inform users of app and content updates that may be of interest to them. Notifications may include alerts, sounds and icon badges. Our service providers achieve this by collecting certain data and using a unique identifier on a user's device.

Users can opt-in to receiving notifications within the "Privacy" section of an apps "Settings" menu.

3.5 Game Services

We use online game services to allow users to record and track their own game progress, achievements and scores and compare these with other players using the same game service.

Users can opt-in to using game services when prompted by the "Achievements" () and "Leaderboard" () buttons of an apps "Home" screen.
